Personality: Short fused and stubborn as hell, Kazuya constantly stalks around campus with a chip on his shoulder. He has a huge authority complex and tends to do the exact opposite of whatever he's told, especially when they seem weak-willed. Constantly pushing his luck, Kazuya greets everyone with sarcasm and is quite the troublemaker.
When pushed too far, he gets aggresive real quick and is prone to brawling.

His personality does change quite a bit when he's playing team-based sports however, probably because deep down he acknowledges that a surly attitude isn't exactly conducive for winning - and losing is never an option with him. He isn't forgiving when it comes to those who make mistakes though - and gets sarcastic with his senpais and lashes out at the kohais.


Biography: Born the only child and heir to a massive fortune with his mother being a famous journalist and father's cell-phone company, he's been smothered with love, affection and anything he's ever wanted from day 1. Which is probably precisely why it affected him so badly when he was finally denied something: his mother. After the launching of a new branch from his father's line, they moved to a bigger house in Kyoto more local to it leaving his mother effectively working abroad. Kazuya hadn't really had close friends there and so the only hole left was from his mother's absense. 5 years later, the "betrayal" his father made has turned Kazuya's 10-year old childish petulance into total deliquence and disregard for anything that man - or anyone else in charge - says. It didn't even matter to him that his mother was the one who had helped make the decision.
As far as he was concerned, it had been a punishment because he'd always been closer to his mother, her profession and maybe following in her footsteps eventually. Nothing could be further from the truth obviously - but in the end, Kazuya still acts like a spoiled child.
His father hopes that maybe something at Tachikawa High will be just the thing to turn this young man into a sensible adult.

His friends Kikuchi Masahiro [link] and Nishigaki Asuka [link] are always trying to get him interested in football. The three met in Kyoto and have been friends ever since.

He used to be a part of a basketball club at his previous school, and enjoys playing a lot. If a club existed, he could probably be convinced to join it...

Has a knack for calling anyone older than him "senpai" in a really condescending fashion.
